Immunity
The nutrients with the strongest research backing for immune function.
Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D do most of the heavy lifting. Quercetin is the bioflavonoid worth adding when seasons change.
Immunity is a daily project, not a winter rescue.
The body's immune system is constantly active. Most people only think about it when they get a cold, but the research consistently points to baseline nutrient status as the bigger lever. Adults who are vitamin D deficient (most UK adults from October to April) or zinc deficient (more common than commonly realised) have measurably different immune responses.

Vitamin C is the most studied immune nutrient. Zinc is the most under-consumed. Vitamin D is the most seasonally relevant. Quercetin is a plant flavonoid that has been the subject of growing research interest.
A daily multi-nutrient approach beats reactive single-nutrient mega-dosing. We have built our immunity range around that principle.
What actually supports the immune system.
- Normal function of the immune system
- Normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise
- Protection of cells from oxidative stress
- Reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- Normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums and teeth
- Increases iron absorption
A layered approach to daily immune support.
Vitamin C 1000mg Complex
1000mg ascorbic acid plus Rose Hip and Acerola fruit (naturally rich in vitamin C). 113% of EU NRV in one capsule. Take daily for baseline immune support.
Shop Vitamin C →Ultra Zinc Complex
30mg zinc combining four forms (Citrate, Gluconate, Bisglycinate, Picolinate) for layered bioavailability, plus 1mg copper to balance long-term zinc supplementation.
Shop Ultra Zinc →Quercetin Complex
1000mg quercetin from Sophora japonica plus Vitamin C, Bromelain, Rose Hip and Acerola. A targeted immune support stack, especially during seasonal change.
Shop Quercetin →Daily baseline vs. acute support.
For daily prevention
Vitamin C 1000mg + Ultra Zinc daily, all year round. Add Vitamin D3 4000IU October to April when UK sunlight is too weak for skin synthesis.
For seasonal change or after exposure
Add Quercetin Complex (2 capsules daily) on top of your baseline. Our formula pairs quercetin with bromelain, a pineapple-derived enzyme that has been studied for its role in flavonoid bioavailability (Pavan et al., 2012). Use for 4-6 weeks during high-exposure periods.
Immunity FAQs.
Why combine vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D?
Each works through a different pathway, but all three carry the same GB Authorised Health Claim, that they contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C is the antioxidant and collagen co-factor: it supports the skin and mucous-membrane barriers, your body's first line of defence. Zinc is required for immune cell development and is also authorised for normal DNA synthesis and cell division. Vitamin D plays a regulatory role across immune signalling and is the nutrient UK adults are most often deficient in through autumn and winter.
Can I take all four products at once?
Yes. The doses are designed to be taken together within a normal day. Vitamin C is best with food (it also helps with iron absorption). Zinc best with food as it can make you nauseous (at least 2 hours away from any iron supplement). Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, so take it with a meal containing some fat. Quercetin is fine any time. Spread them across the day for the easiest tolerability.
Do I need to take all four year-round?
No. The most common stack is vitamin C and zinc year-round, with vitamin D3 added through autumn and winter (when daylight in the UK isn't strong enough for the body to produce its own). Quercetin is often added seasonally, during the change of seasons, or when immune support is the priority for a few weeks at a time. Your routine should match what your body needs at that moment, not run on autopilot.
How much vitamin D should I take?
The UK Government recommends 10µg (400IU) daily for the entire population during autumn and winter. Our Vitamin D3 4000IU is a higher therapeutic dose (100µg/day) used by people working to address established deficiency or who get very little sunlight year-round. If you have not had your levels checked recently, your GP can do a simple blood test.
Is quercetin safe during preconception/pregnancy?
This is best discussed with your fertility nutritionist or fertility coach. Some practitioners recommend quercetin during the preconception window depending on your immune profile, particularly if blood work or testing has shown specific immune markers worth supporting. Others won't recommend it at all. It depends on you and your individual results. If quercetin is something you're considering, check in with the practitioner who knows your history and they'll help you decide whether it's a good fit.
Will these products prevent colds?
No supplement can claim to prevent illness. What the GB Authorised Health Claims say is that vitamin C, zinc, and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system. A well-functioning immune system is what your body uses to manage common infections; nutrient adequacy supports that. Anyone claiming a supplement "prevents colds" is overstating what the evidence supports.
Build your daily immune stack.
Start with Vitamin C and Zinc. Add Vitamin D3 in autumn and winter. Add Quercetin during seasonal change.
